Hello,
I am trying to create a little waterfall using maxfluids, but I cannot get it to interact with the object I have made. Basically I have created a plane, edit poly, manipulate the verts to get into the right shape, subdivide, add a couple of noise layers to come up with a basic shape.
When I run the sim, the fluid seems to collide with it way about the object and then it flips out.I have tried to reset the xform, collapse the stack, deleted the fluids and retried.. nup. If I delete the collider the fluid flows perfectly, if I do a basic mesh it works fine also. There must be something with the noise that is having an impact I assume but I am really unsure.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Sounds like a tricky mesh issue—could be the noise modifier causing unexpected collider behavior. Try simplifying the mesh or converting it to an editable poly again after applying noise.
