It has been awhile since I have written something about the arch viz industry, and about learnArchViz.com's efforts to educate people in that realm, so I wanted to take a second to update you all.
The arch viz industry as a whole continues to be in strong demand, and the job itself has many opportunities to learn new technologies on a regular basis. I have talked about it a lot here before, but VR remains an exciting endeavor for arch viz artists with many opportunities for innovative techniques to visualize things. The interest in my latest course, UE4: An Advanced Real Time Arch Viz Project, has given me hope that many artists are trying to embrace these new technologies. The video above is an example, from of the course, of the kinds of results you can get with real time rendering. It continues to push closer and closer to photo realism, just as we have seen with traditional offline renderers like V-Ray.
With learnArchViz.com my goal has always been to educate / train people about my job in the cheapest, easiest and most straight forward way possible. Here are a few things that I think make my resources unique:
1) I am still a practicing professional. On a daily basis I am in the middle of the all the latest client concerns, deadlines, upcoming technologies, etc. This enables me to keep being on the cutting edge of what is out there.
2) I am self taught. I am entirely self-taught in 3d graphics and arch viz. This means that I learned the same way many online learners are attempting to learn. Only, I have streamlined the process for you all and only focus on the stuff that I know you really need.
3) It's Cheap! Having a worldwide audience means I don't have to make a bunch of money off of every class I sell. That's good news for you! Here is the current reach of my professional courses.
*As a member of this site, you will have opportunities to get these courses on sale for just $9.99! I can't make it free, because my efforts are pretty monumental, but at this price, it is the next best thing.
Although my pro courses are only close to free :) I do have many other resources that are actually free, and I try to add to them pretty regularly. In addition to that, I have many other resources which are ridiculously cheap.
