Vray progressive rendering, noise threshold .001 on the top image. Vray materials used + composite map, mix map, falloff map, etc. In-camera depth of field using Vray with physical camera.
Photoreal with Vray is very exceptional combination that truly takes architectural visualization to the next level. Vray is renowned for its powerful rendering capabilities.
Are you talking to me or Matthew? For me, I just used a V-ray dome light outside with an HDRI applied. That gave me all the atmospheric light, and also a background image. Inside I have just a V-Ray disc light emitting from the from of the studio light model in the scene. I also put a sphere light inside the studio light model in order to light up the inside of the light umbrella. The only other light I have is a Vray sun outside that is emitting a dim direct light through the window.
Well, the render settings look super clean and crisp, so that is a win. The overall scene looks really nice too. I love the soft lighting and how well it rendered.
The main settings that I adjusted to be higher quality are Min. subdivs (from 1 to 3), the noise threshold (very low at .001) and adaptive amount (.4 instead of default .85).
