I updated the file and it should work now

A third download link has been added at the top of this post. It should open without crashing Max. Give it a try. If all else fails, you can still try merging.

I have been experimenting and found that merging the file into a fresh 3ds Max scene is what works.

@Deep Billas Have you tried merging it into a fresh scene instead of opening it? It is very hard for me to diagnose. I will test with my own computer again.

Some of you have found that this link has been hard to access because of security settings changed recently by google. I am changing that now. Let me know if you still have issues.

What error is it giving? What version of Max are you using?

Not sure why this would be crashing. It is currently working for thousands of other students. What version are you on, and which file are you trying to use?

I think it is fixed now. Drive updated their security settings, making it necessary for me to replace all the links. Try it now.

If you are signed into a google account it should work. The sharing on the file is already set to "anyone with the a link" so it should be accessible. Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing? I can't recreate it.

Sorry, I don't have any inside information about this. Are you using cad to export splines to an engraver?

What do you mean? Are you trying to access some of my files and it is not working? Please let me know exactly which ones and what you are seeing.

You are right. I actually have this same issue and haven't fixed it yet. The V-Ray toolbar still works, it just is double the size it needs to be and has a bunch of blank spots. I need to look into this and try and find a fix (it is kind of a weird bug), then I can upload new UI files. For now, I suggest just using it as it is.

As noted by others here. I have already imported the cad into a 3ds Max file. You can either just open the file and start working, or you can merge it into your scene. Make sure to download a version earlier or equal to the version you are using. 2018 file version will work with Max 2020 or newer even.
