This is another excerpt from the 3dsMax and Vray course for furniture modeling.

This video, part of a much larger Furniture Modeling Masterclass, previews part of the Mudbox workflow that is discussed in the course. Specifically, this video shows a method for using Mudbox to sculpt displacement maps and normal maps, that can then be exported and applied to low poly objects in 3ds Max using nrmBmp Maps and V-Ray displacement modifier. This is a great workflow to use for creating carved detailing, architectural moldings, etc. The workflow can be a bit tricky, but this video should guide you through everything you need to know.
